We’re committed to making your education accessible. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify, and our team is here to guide you through the process.

Students can qualify for federal aid along with other aid (GI Bill®, OVR, etc.). Please apply for all, if applicable. If you are not interested in financial aid, private payment plan agreements may be available.

The Barber School of Pittsburgh is committed to providing access to quality education through a variety of financial aid options. All financial aid programs are offered in accordance with federal and state regulations and align with our NACCAS accreditation standards. Assistance is available to students who meet eligibility requirements, and our Financial Aid Office is here to guide you through the application process with clarity and support.

📘 Federal Pell Grant Program

A federal need-based grant awarded to eligible undergraduate students pursuing their first certificate or degree. Pell Grants do not require repayment. Award amounts are based on financial need and enrollment status, as determined by the FAFSA.

To be considered for any federal financial aid, all prospective students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This is the official application used to determine eligibility for grants, loans, and work-study programs.
 

Completing the FAFSA is free, easy, and the first step toward making your education more affordable.
